THE OPPORTUNITY
Branch Support Representative represents our bank to the community and makes customers feel welcome, assisting clients by providing superior service with their financial transactions. The role requires travel between temporary assignments at branch offices within a designated region. Responsibilities include processing cash and non‑cash transactions in accordance with company policy and procedures, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with all U.S. state and federal laws.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other bank transactions, including night depository and ATM.
- Answer questions and resolve problems for customers concerning all services provided by the bank.
- Identify opportunities to cross‑sell bank products and services and generate referrals to appropriate account managers.
- Review and verify daily reports assigned by branch management.
- Process all paperwork associated with transactions, including proper filing or discarding of sensitive information.
- Answer branch telephone calls and assist with customer requests or issues.
- Consistently maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Adhere to bank security policies and maintain confidentiality of bank records and client information.
- Be willing to train in all areas of operations.
- Support, coach, and train staff when appropriate.
- Be willing to train and learn in all aspects of new accounts.
- Assist manager in reviewing regional certifications, audits, and G.L. reviews.

- Perform the position safely, without endangering health or safety, and report potentially unsafe conditions. Comply with OSHA Act of 1970 and related regulations.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- 2 years of teller experience required.
- New accounts experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic understanding of cash handling and basic knowledge of key 10 (or ability to learn) required.
- Ability to learn key branch systems; basic end‑user knowledge of Word and Excel required.
- Detail‑oriented, accurate, organized, and highly flexible.
- Ability to travel between branch locations.
- Fluency in Spanish beneficial but not required.
- Identify opportunities to refer new products and services based on client goals; service client needs to completion.
- Responsive; establishes and maintains relationships internally and externally by understanding needs.
- Engage others in a friendly and reliable manner; write key information via email and communicate basic information via phone.
- Stay current on all products and changes; answer questions with partial information.
- Tackle multiple concurrent tasks; take appropriate actions under guidance.
- Accountable for handling appropriate level of risk and making decisions commensurate with that risk.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
