General Manager – McDonald’s (Franchisee Employer)

This role is for a General Manager at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee, not McDonald’s USA, is the employer responsible for all employment matters.

• Run a profitable restaurant and ensure it meets McDonald’s Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
• Set the restaurant’s goals in partnership with leadership and develop strategies to achieve them.
• Lead a team of Assistant Managers and Shift Managers, coaching and directing them to improve each department.
• Hire and develop Assistant and Shift Managers to build a capable future leadership team.

• Previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations.
• Background in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail strongly desired.
• Legal age of 18 years or older to serve as manager in a corporate‑owned and operated restaurant.

The franchisee is a separate company and the sole employer for this position. All hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are handled by the franchisee. McDonald’s USA has no involvement in employment decisions.
