The Electrician Apprentice assists in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment under the supervision of a licensed electrician. This role involves working with various electrical tools and materials, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards. The apprentice will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving within industrial settings, contributing to the efficient operation of electrical systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment

* Measure, cutting, bending, threading, assembling and installation of conduit raceways

* Assist in maintaining tools and games boxes in neat, orderly fashion

* Manage material inventory and storage

* Utilize various electrical tools and materials

* Interpret and follow blueprints

* Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards

* Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

* Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring techniques

* Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints

* Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in electrical work

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

* Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols

* Ability to work independently or as part of a team

* Ability to work in various environmental conditions

Education/

Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry

* Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the electrical trade

* Basic math skills (multiplication, addition, subtraction and division) and ability to read a tape measure

* OSHA 10-hour certification preferred

Travel Requirements:

* Anticipated 100% travel to project sites nationwide

* Ability to travel occasionally to attend meetings, trainings, and events.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to wear and utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE)

* Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

* Bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods

* Ability to perform repetitive movements

* Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas

* Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to and exceeding 50 pounds

* Adequate vision to perform all required tasks

* Work on ladders, scaffolding, and rooftops

* Comfortable with heights and able to climb and descend safely

* Strong sense of balance and spatial awareness

* Participate in respiratory fit testing and use as required
