Security Officer - Entry Level

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following site-specific government facility access procedures, security-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries at designated checkpoints using walkthrough detectors, handheld wands, and/or X-ray equipment, and refer prohibited items or concerns to site leadership per post orders;
Verify identification, manage sign-in and badge processes, control access through doors and turnstiles, and maintain accurate logs and required documentation;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, reporting, and coordination with on-site personnel and/or public partners;
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, and perimeter as assigned, observing for irregular activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, and document findings per reporting guidelines
