Learn more:  As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support day-to-day operations by welcoming associates and visitors, checking credentials and badges, and managing access points.

You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to questions with strong customer service and clear communication. You may also use a computer and/or tablet to document activity and support loss prevention efforts.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Conduct screening of employees, visitors, and contractors at entry points, including verifying identification, validating access authorization, and directing individuals to the correct check-in process.

+ Perform screening of bags, parcels, and/or deliveries as required, using approved screening methods and maintaining professional, respectful interactions throughout the process.

+ Monitor assigned areas such as entrance lanes, dock doors, and staging areas; report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or hazards to site leadership according to post orders.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and written reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

* + Customer Service Experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

+ Loss Prevention is preferred.

+ Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

+ Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
