Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver, Clearance Required in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at an aero and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting with clear, professional communication.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
* Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
* Monitor entry points and restricted areas by checking credentials, managing visitor sign-in, and directing individuals to proper destinations in accordance with site policies.
* Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

* An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
