Overview

Wells Lawn Care & Landscaping has been serving North Bloomington, Ellettsville and surrounding communities since 2006, providing full-service lawn care, landscape design and property maintenance for both residential and commercial customers. We have a unique opportunity for an experienced and driven Landscaping Business Development Representative that is comfortable in a fast-paced, growing company. Our Landscaping Business Development Representative will be responsible for cultivating, growing and managing our commercial accounts.

We offer an annual salary of $55,000 - $65,000 base salary with opportunities for commission. In addition, we offer a SIMPLE IRA with company match, paid time off, take-home company vehicle, and a positive work environment.

Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience in business development, landscaping account management, or sales;
  • Landscaping experience is required, with a strong horticultural knowledge and understanding of turf and turf treatment options;
  • Proficiency with technology and prior experience with CRMs; experience with LMN is a plus;
  • Experience with cold calling and cold lead cultivation;
  • A proven ability to cultivate long-term relationships with warm and cold leads and strong relationship-management experience;
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
Key goals for our Landscaping Business Development Representative
  • Managing a portfolio of commercial accounts;
  • Cultivating and developing additional commercial revenue and accounts;
  • Developing long-lasting relationships with commercial clients ensuring renewals of contracts;
  • Providing excellent client services and seeking out opportunities for enhancements and upsells;
  • Seeking out opportunities for new business through following up on warm and cold leads and following the sales process through to completion;
  • Other duties as assigned
