Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Ortho/Neuro travel assignment in Indianapolis, IN, requiring 2 years of acute care experience and active IN or compact RN licensure.

Job Details

• Located on the 6 West Ortho/Neuro unit of an inpatient hospital setting,

• 34-bed unit serving a diverse patient population including stroke, seizures, MS exacerbation, hip fractures, post-surgical back surgeries, hip/knee replacements, craniectomy, and overflow med/surg patients,

• Patient ratio of 1:4.5,

• Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM,

• Every third weekend required,

• Floating required,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Equipment includes Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Nova glucometers,

• Epic EMR,

Job Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required,

• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required,

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience required,

• US Social Security Number required,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to orthopedic and neurological patients in an acute inpatient setting,

• Navy blue scrubs required; nose rings and hoodies are not permitted,

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are welcome to apply,

• 13-week contract
