OverviewIU Health Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse Navigator to join our Pain Navigation/Pain Rehabilitation Program service line! This role will work Monday‑Friday, day shift and enjoys a balanced work schedule with no weekend, holiday, or on‑call duties.
Location: IU Health Neuroscience Center, Indianapolis, IN

- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely delivery of tests and treatments
- Advocating for patients and balancing their care needs with financial considerations
- Educating patients about the pain program; provides scheduled education to patients on a multitude of factors that affect their chronic pain
- Triaging referred patients
- Managing care delivery across the patient care continuum for new patients
- Coordinating Scrambler Therapy Clinic
- Associate of Nursing (ASN) required;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program; 3‑5 years of experience preferred
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
- Additional advanced life‑support or specialty certifications may be required per unit/department specialty
- Knowledge of personal computers using various word processing and database software
- Clinical work experience, medical terminology, and understanding of medical record requirements, regulations, and policies
- Experience with education and navigating complex conditions preferred; pain management experience preferred but not required
