Mixer - All Shifts- Bakery Plant

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
:

• You will demonstrate behaviors that support company safety procedures, with a focus on achieving zero injuries.

  You will exhibit behaviors that support quality work processes, including documenting and tracking production variables, downtime, and product samples.

  You will ensure the blending of raw materials by weight or automatic metering systems.

  You will follow and document time and temperature points in recipe specifications to meet quality standards.

  You will start-up, operate, maintain production processing equipment, and perform shut-down procedures.

  You will scale minor ingredients by weight, count, or bulk flow meters into bins or mixing equipment according to company-issued recipes.

  You will maintain computer-related equipment or control panels to operate automated machinery.

  You will report to the line Team Lead.

  You will work overtime to achieve production and maintenance schedules.

• 3 months of experience working in a production, manufacturing or distribution environment

• Experience working in a food processing or packaging environment

• Experience working in an automated machinery environment (with PLCs or MMIs)

• Experience work in a USDA, FDA, OSHA, or GMP compliant environment

• Proficiency in SAP

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Sit, stand, walk and climb stairs during time on duty.

• Lift or push 50+ lbs

• Read recipes to mix correct ingredients.

• Manually transport packaging bags & containers

• Stand up to twelve (12) hours
