* Coordinate and verify delivery of materials and documentation to production.
* Ensure readiness of orders by reviewing work orders and material availability.
* Monitor and track work order progress, addressing barriers to ensure timely completion
* Proactively identify and resolve material shortages or discrepancies before impact to production.
* Update ERP systems with accurate material movements, completions, and adjustments.
* Support inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain system accuracy.
Communication
Skills:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various disciplines as well as effectively communicate within a teaming environment.
Technical
Skills:
* Ability to read and understand requirements detailed on drawings is a plus.
* Understanding of the application and concepts of Planning including MRP (Demand/Supply) and Inventory Management.
Computer
Skills:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office with particular emphasis on Excel. Familiarity with S4
Hana or similar Enterprise Resource Planning software is a plus.
Security Requirements:
* U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency may be required for government contract compliance.
* Must meet requirements to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance if needed.
Work Environment &
Physical Requirements
* This role is primarily performed on the production floor with frequent walking, standing, and material handling.
* Occasional lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
* Use of carts, bins, and material handling equipment required.
* Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on area assignments.
Minimum Education al / Work Experience Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED required;
Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in materials coordination, production control, or inventory operations.
* Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, S4
HANA, Oracle, or equivalent.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Outlook.
* Understanding of basic manufacturing workflows and inventory control practices.
* Ability to read and interpret work instructions, part numbers, and bill of materials.
* Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Effective communication skills to work across multiple teams and departments.
