Parking Garage Maintenance Tech

We are seeking passionate people to join our growing and dynamic maintenance team in Indianapolis! Our parking garage maintenance staff are customer service representatives for our clients and their tenants. They also focus in on all maintenance needs for the properties that they oversee. This positions primary responsibility is to safeguard the interests of the owners and safety of the tenants by maintaining the physical condition of the property and equipment according to company guidelines and standards, as well as protect the property and equipment from damage, loss, and deterioration.

The ideal candidate has a go-getter attitude, is a self-motivated team player, and a true jack of all trades.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Repair and complete general maintenance on gate(s) access equipment.

2. Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment as needed

3. Sweep floors

4. Clean and maintain cleanliness of surfaces and equipment

5. Perform general maintenance of the parking lot and/or garage, including but not limited to:

6. Pressure washing

7. Power sweeping

8. Painting

9. Snow removal/salting (as needed)

10. Basic repairs

11. Pick up trash throughout the garage or lot, empty trash receptacles

12. Perform basic truck maintenance including cleaning, washing, oil changes, headlight replacement, and other general upkeep

13. Work independently and as part of the team

14. Always observe safety precautions

15. Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS and ABILITIES

1. Uses personal computer and / or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training.

2. Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook.

3. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Must be able to walk to and from each facility. Requires repetitive motion.

4. Ability to wear all required safety equipment and perform needed task as directed or issued through building work order system

5. Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· Valid Oklahoma drivers license

· Requires general knowledge in the use of power and hand tools.

· Requires basic computer skills.

Compensation details: 18-20 Hourly Wage
