If so, Lakeside Book Company would love to invite you to join our team as a Desktop Repair Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for refurbishing and repairing a wide range of computer hardware, ensuring that each device meets the highest quality standards before being sent back to our customers.

Your day will be filled with exciting challenges as you diagnose issues, replace parts, and test systems, all while being part of a supportive team that values your contributions. If you thrive in a hands‑on role, we would love to hear from you!

• Clean, inspect, and repair incoming technology.
• Recognize, diagnose, and troubleshoot hardware issues effectively and efficiently.
• Provide imaging support.
• Test refurbished computers to ensure they meet quality standards before shipment.
• Document repair processes and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Collaborate with team members to improve refurbishment processes and share best practices.
• Assist in training new employees on refurbishment techniques and procedures.
• Ensure strict follow through of established guidelines and procedures.
• Other duties as required.

• Excellent computer knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a warehouse environment.
• Comfortable using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems and software installation.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50lbs throughout an 8 to 10‑hour shift.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime as required, which could include Saturday.

• Pay - $22.50/hr
• Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with mandatory overtime as required.
