Overview
The Compliance Support Administrator is responsible for ensuring program compliance with multi‑family housing programs and requirements, training regulations and software. The role ensures properties operate in accordance with regulations and standards while maximizing the effectiveness of affordable software systems and processes.
Responsibilities- Administration of affordable software and products.
- Resolve compliance software issues.
- Handle all compliance helpdesk inquiries and resolutions, including questions regarding multi‑family housing program regulations, affordable company policies and procedures, and compliance software questions and issues.
- Housing Assistance Payment processing and reconciliation.
- Develop, maintain, and provide compliance training to others in a systematic and logical manner.
- Develop and maintain compliance resources.
- Maintain relationships with regulatory personnel.
- Assist with initiatives to improve the compliance performance of the portfolio.
- Complete and submit, in a timely and accurate manner, all required records, reports, and documents.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, administrative, research, and interpersonal skills.
- 2+ years of demonstrated and progressive compliance experience with Yardi software products.
- 2+ years of experience with compliance regulations for federal multi‑family housing programs, such as Fair Housing, LIHTC, HUD Project Based Section 8, HUD Project Based, and tenant vouchers.
- 2+ years of progressive compliance experience with Housing Assistance Payment vouchering systems.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficient in standard information technology tools, including Office products.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
- Excellent reading and writing comprehension of English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow‑through.
- Some travel may be required.
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
