Indiana University Health and The Department of Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking to fill immediate openings in the areas of Adult Health Psychology and Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychology. Academic rank and track are flexible depending on the experience and expertise of the candidate and may be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. Responsibilities will consist of psychological evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with medical diagnoses within a large outpatient psychiatry clinic and tertiary care hospitals affiliated with Indiana University School of Medicine.
Other responsibilities will include collaboration with medical treatment teams, participation on department committees, supervision/teaching of residents, interns, and medical students, and research opportunities when available.
The Department of Psychiatry has a broad research, clinical, and teaching mission and maintains both a clinical psychology internship and psychiatry residency program, in addition to training rotations for medical and graduate students.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.
D.) - Board Certified / Board Eligible in Clinical Psychology
- HSPP Required
- Strong knowledge of clinical experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders for both children and adults
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
