Position: Medical Payment Posting Specialist
Description

Join our team as a Medical Payment Posting Specialist and play a key role in supporting the financial strength of leading healthcare organizations. In this crucial position, you'll be responsible for the accurate and timely posting of medical payments-helping to maintain an efficient revenue cycle and positively impact the patient experience.

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities include the following:

+ Accurately enter insurance and patient payments into billing systems, ensuring records are current.

+ Review and analyze Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) to confirm and distribute payments correctly.

+ Reconcile deposits and verify payment activity within patient accounts, promptly resolving any discrepancies.

+ Proactively identify and address denials, underpayments, or posting errors to ensure precise account management.

+ Work collaboratively with internal teams and insurance carriers to investigate and resolve payment-related inquiries.

+ Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations by maintaining industry standards.

+ Assist with month-end closing activities related to payment posting and financial reporting.

Requirements

+ Previous experience in medical payment posting or revenue cycle operations preferred

+ Knowledge of healthcare billing, insurance, and payment processing

+ Proficient with medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite

+ Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Detail-oriented professionals with strong analytical skills.

+

Experience with healthcare billing systems and EOB documentation.

+ A commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
