. The Senior Commercial Banker will develop contacts and leads to generate Commercial loan financing and build profitable lending and deposit relationships with both new and existing members. This includes Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending, generating leads through cold calling, networking, and member contacts, and consulting with customers to understand their financing goals.
- Analyze all commercial lending loan requests and prepare written evaluations and recommendations for approval.
- Structure and negotiate pricing for all loan requests.
- Protect the credit union’s interests by ensuring adequate documentation, adherence to credit union policies, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain and develop existing commercial and individual relationships.
- Participate in community and civic business functions to promote Elements Financial.
- Assist in ongoing servicing and monitoring of commercial loans.
- Actively participate in sales meetings, training programs, and marketing activities.
- Drive business development of new commercial and individual relationships focusing on loans and deposits.
- Four‑year degree in business, finance, marketing, or equivalent; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of commercial lending experience with a proven record of generating loans.
- Track record of quality loan growth and robust calling experience.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, credit analysis, and negotiation skills.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
- Commitment to “best in class” member service and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Successful self‑manager with strong collaboration and communication skills.
