Electrical Engineer

Overview

The client is a full-service MBE consulting engineering firm offering Architectural, Civil & Environmental, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Disciplines that is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for its expanding electrical group. Qualified candidates must be quality focused with experience in performing calculations and developing construction documentation for on-time delivery.

• Design and development projects for the discipline and produce project details.
• Operationally responsible for the timely delivery of segments for projects to clients, including project responsibilities on sub-consultant teams.
• Budgetary and schedule tracking and adherence.
• Collaboration with other disciplines, anticipating needs to ensure success of the overall team.
• Responsible for the development and/or maintenance of client relationships, assisting in the preparation of project proposals, and for ongoing projects review and support.
• Draft specifications for project specific application.
• Certification of construction documentation and permit applications.
• Construction administration for ongoing projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and technical writing skills required.

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of ten years’ experience.
• Indiana PE certification (or able to obtain).
• Demonstrated strengths in Controls, Building Automation, SCADA, MV, and LV design and implementation for industrial and commercial applications.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM Power Tools, Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Revit.
