Industrial Application Engineer

Help an exciting industrial sales team grow and build the infrastructure of the state of Indiana.

BBC Pump is looking to expand our Commercial / Industrial sales team with someone who has a mechanical aptitude and can understand systems design and troubleshooting.

Learn on the job how HVAC, domestic water, and industrial process systems operate and how pumps and boilers fit into them with our knowledgeable team of industry veterans. This position entails working closely with our industrial and commercial sales reps by quoting and managing projects as well as performing equipment applications engineering.

BBC Pump will provide on‑the‑job training for all represented lines within the sales territory.

We are actively searching for someone who wants to grow within a solid, privately owned company that is vital to the infrastructure of Indiana.

• Quoting and managing projects for industrial and commercial sales clients.
• Performing equipment applications engineering for pumps and boiler systems.
• Collaborating with sales reps to provide system design and troubleshooting support.
• Learning on the job how HVAC, domestic water, and industrial process systems operate.

• High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred).
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Business writing and customer relations experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Software.
• Project management skills.
• Knowledge or familiarity with pumps, controls, hydronic systems, and industrial processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
