Transportation Lead Civil Engineer

As a Civil Transportation Team Lead, you'll be responsible for managing your own team of talented engineers, overseeing projects, and ensuring quality delivery for our clients. You’ll report directly to VS’s Indiana Transportation Director, and work in a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and professional growth.

• Lead and manage a transportation engineering team, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
• Oversee and drive transportation projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, leading business development efforts and expanding our transportation project portfolio.
• Work on a wide range of projects, including public sector design for INDOT, counties, and municipalities.
• Promote a culture of innovation, creativity, and problem-solving to overcome complex challenges.

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana, and/or Ohio and Kentucky.
• At least 10 years of experience designing transportation infrastructure projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing projects and leading teams.
• Experience with public sector design projects (INDOT, county, municipal).

• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and quality.

• A passion for taking on new challenges and continuously developing skills in a full-service engineering firm.
• Strong project management leadership capabilities, with a track record of delivering successful transportation projects.
• A service-oriented mindset and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• The ability to solve complex problems through creativity, collaboration, and professional judgment.
