• Assist in technical design for civil engineering transportation projects
• Complete design reports and documentation
• Coordinate with utility companies and agencies
• Calculate quantities and develop construction cost estimates
• Participate in quality assurance and reviews of design plans, specifications, and estimates
• Engage in public involvement activities
• Travel to project sites and other EMCS locations as needed

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• EIT certification preferred
• Familiarity with INDOT standards, practices, and policies is a plus
• Proficiency with Micro Station/Open Roads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
