Grades 6-8 Science Teacher

St. Michael-St. Gabriel, located on the west side of Indianapolis, is hiring a Junior High/Middle School science teacher for the  school year.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in the above content area

* Create a positive environment that supports students' academic, social, and emotional development

* Differentiate instruction to meet different learning styles

* Assess student progress regularly and use data to adjust instruction where needed

* Maintain clear and consistent communication with student families

Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance instruction

* Uphold school policies as outlined by the administration

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Science or related field

* Valid state teaching certification (or ability to obtain)

* Strong classroom management and organizational skills

* Excellent oral and written communication skills
