About the Post Producer Role

The Post Producer oversees all phases of post-production for Audiochuck's podcasts and visual media projects. This role ensures content moves efficiently through editing, sound design, and final delivery-while maintaining both creative quality and operational excellence.

Working cross-functionally with producers, editors, and department leaders, the Post Producer manages schedules, workflows, and deliverables to ensure each project is completed on time and meets Audiochuck's brand and storytelling standards.

What You'll Do

Project Management & Workflow
  • Oversee post-production schedules, timelines, and task management across multiple projects
  • Execute edits for assigned projects as needed
  • Maintain and distribute post calendars, deliverable checklists, and progress updates
Creative Oversight & Quality Control
  • Review content for accuracy, pacing, tone, and overall quality prior to delivery
  • Partner with creative leadership to uphold Audiochuck's storytelling, editorial, and sound integrity standards
  • Support the transition of podcasts into vodcasts, providing creative direction, story accuracy, and editing oversight
Collaboration & Communication
  • Coordinate with production, creative, and marketing teams to align timelines and asset delivery
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for cross-departmental post-production needs
  • Liaise with external vendors and freelance partners to ensure smooth handoffs and delivery
Process Optimization
  • Identify and implement workflow improvements to enhance efficiency across post-production teams
  • Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and archiving protocols
  • Support documentation of post-production processes and best practices
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Film, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in post-production within media, entertainment, or podcasting environments
  • Strong knowledge of post-production workflows and delivery standards
  • Hands-on experience with editing and sound design tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Pro Tools, and Avid Media Composer
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on process consistency and quality control
  • Experience in podcast or long-form audio post-production environments preferred
