Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and manage construction projects from start to finish. The primary focus of this role will be a ground-up bank headquarters project in Lebanon, Indiana. The site presents unique challenges due to its proximity to an active bank with regular customer activity. Additional projects include educational buildings, water treatment facilities, and other commercial ventures.
This role requires a seasoned professional capable of overseeing various types of construction, including new builds, additions, and renovations.
Responsibilities
+ Create the project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager.
+ Oversee site safety to ensure compliance with standards.
+ Create, maintain, and review all project documentation.
+ Provide project oversight and ensure quality control measures are in place.
+ Communicate effectively with trades, subcontractors, clients, and owners.
+ Manage project materials to ensure timely availability and usage.
Essential Skills
+ 10+ years of experience in commercial construction.
+ 10+ years as a superintendent on ground-up projects.
+ Experience as a lead superintendent on at least 5 projects.
+ Proven track record with projects valued above $10 million.
+ Willingness to travel to Lebanon, IN for a year or more with a permanent residence in central Indiana.
+ Experience in client-facing roles and working directly with clients.
+ Proficiency with Procore software.
+ Experience in creating construction schedules.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
+ Willingness to travel nationwide for up to 2 weeks at a time.
+ Experience in K-12 construction projects.
+ Degree in Construction Management.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
+ Experience in water and wastewater projects.
Work Environment
This role primarily involves on-site work with a schedule of 40-50 hours per week, which can increase to 5 10-hour days during the busy season. The work environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability to seasonal and weather-related changes. Employees will receive a laptop/tablet, and travel expenses for projects over 60 miles from the office will be covered. A vehicle reimbursement plan is available, along with a monthly phone reimbursement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
