Property Accountant (Fully Remote)
Salary: $70,000–$90,000
Industry: Multifamily Real Estate
A growing multifamily real estate company is seeking a Property Accountant to manage financial reporting for a portfolio of residential communities. This fully remote role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable owning the accounting process for multiple properties.
Responsibilities- Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned multifamily properties
- Maintain general ledger, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules
- Review variances and partner with property/asset management teams
- Handle AP/AR activity and support CAM reconciliations
- Assist with budgets, audits, and process improvements
- 2–5+ years of property accounting experience, preferably multifamily
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, Real Page, or similar software
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Fully remote role
