Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sr Staff Acct to support a wide range of accounting responsibilities. The Sr Staff Acct will be heavily AP‑focused while also handling key general accounting duties. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple processes across AP, AR, and month‑end close.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary Sr Staff Acct for accounts payable, including processing invoices, routing for approvals, and batching for cash release with the bank.
  • Perform general accounting functions such as month‑end reconciliations, journal entries, and booking entries as assigned.
  • Assist with AR tasks, including handling backloads, customer deposits, and properly entering them into ERP systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support audit requirements as needed.
  • Work cross‑functionally to ensure accurate financial data flow across AP, AR, and GL functions.
  • Support process improvements and assist the Controller and accounting team with special projects.
  • Act as a knowledgeable and reliable Sr Staff Acct resource for team members and internal partners.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably as a Sr Staff Acct.
  • Strong understanding of AP processes, cash release procedures, and invoice flow.
  • Experience with month‑end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
  • Familiarity with AR processes including deposits, backloads, and ERP entries.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
