Accounting Specialist (1‑Month Contract) - West Indianapolis

Our client, a reputable CPA firm on the West side of Indianapolis, is seeking an Accounting Specialist for a 1‑month, fully on‑site contract. This role is ideal for someone who can jump in quickly, handle day‑to‑day transactional accounting, and keep financial operations running smoothly during a busy period.

What You'll Do

+ Process high‑volume accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

+ Enter and verify financial data using Quick Books Desktop

+ Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month‑end tasks

+ Maintain organized and up‑to‑date accounting records

+ Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed

+ Duration: 1 month

Location:

West side of Indianapolis (100% on‑site)

+ Start: ASAP

Requirements

What We're Looking For

+

Experience with transactional accounting (A/P, A/R)

+ Quick Books Desktop experience required

+ Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers

+ Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment

+ Prior experience in a CPA firm or professional services environment is a plus

+ Availability to work fully in office for the duration of the contract
