Arbor Homes, a subsidiary of Clayton Properties Group, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, is seeking a motivated individual to join its Accounting team. We’re looking for a detail‑oriented, proactive Senior Accountant who enjoys working in a dynamic, team‑focused environment and is excited to contribute to our continued growth.

• Manage accounting for homebuilding inventory, including review of job costs, permitting costs, lot costs, and inventory classifications.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Analyze expense reports, verify coding accuracy, and ensure entries are recorded properly.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Organize, research, and assign inter‑company transactions including monitoring weekly workbook.
• Assist Controller with month‑end close.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within homebuilding, construction, or real estate development.
• Understanding of general ledger accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills, experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
