Location: Indianapolis
Labcorp is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Work ScheduleOnsite: Indianapolis, IN
Shift hours: 6p – 6a
Days: 12‑hour Rotating Shift with alternating weekend
Job Duties /Responsibilities- Performs overnight warehouse picks for both batch and transfer orders.
- Loads and Unloads trucks
- Puts stock away, makes internal deliveries.
- Provides data entry for all received items into the Purchase Order software systems.
- Communicates all problematic deliveries to the vendor, shipper or appropriate buyer, depending on the problem’s scope.
- Notifies the appropriate buyer and/or vendor of all received product compliance failures.
- Provides all daily receiving paperwork and daily reports to Accounts Payable.
- Assists Accounts Payable with any Invoice/Receiving verification through resolution.
- Performs all cycle counts per departmental schedule.
- Monitors and removes expired items and notifies appropriate personnel for replacements.
- Maintains and generates all month‑end expired item reports for Warehouse items.
- Assists all internal customers with help in answering any questions pertaining to Warehouse stock items.
- Assists with training of all new Warehouse Staff.
- Ensures complete Warehouse coverage.
- Observes Universal Precautions Procedures when applicable.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
- Assists the appropriate Buyer when necessary, in determining the proper Warehouse location for all new supplies.
- Maintains documentation for determining maximum and minimum stocking levels and order amounts.
- Lifts up to seventy (70) pounds routinely.
- Works independently and with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year or more of continuous work experience in a distribution or warehouse environment, including receiving and customer service responsibilities.
- 6 months or more of hands‑on experience operating forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- 6 months or more of basic computer proficiency.
- 1 month or more of experience creating and modifying spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
- 1 year of experience using bar code and inventory control tracking equipment.
- Active Listener: Follows verbal instructions accurately and confirms understanding.
- Clear Writer: Produces short, easy‑to‑read notes and system updates.
- Detail‑Oriented: Checks product numbers, quantities, and expiration dates with high accuracy.
