Inventory Control Clerk FORKLIFT Sit down

Overview

As an Inventory Control Clerk
, you’ll be part of our Distribution Center team located in Whitestown, IN. You’ll get to:

• Operate - safely and efficiently - Sit Down Forklift to perform Inventory Control functions. (experience on sit down forklifts within the last 6 months required)
• Perform scheduled cycle counts of inventory items in accordance with company policies.
• Record, analyze, and report count discrepancies; investigate root causes and document findings.
• Work with warehouse and purchasing teams to reconcile inventory variances.
• Update inventory records in the ERP/WMS system following count adjustments.
• Prepare and maintain cycle count logs, discrepancy reports, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in physical inventory audits and other inventory-related projects as required.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce future discrepancies and enhance inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards during inventory handling and counting.

• Operate safely and efficiently on a Sit Down Forklift as part of inventory control.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Investigate discrepancies and report findings; collaborate with teams to resolve variances.
• Maintain cycle count logs and documentation; support physical inventories and related projects.
• Suggest process improvements to improve accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
• Follow safety and quality standards in all inventory activities.

Key candidate requirements:

• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related field strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
