Position: Warehouse Material Handler Immediately Hiring
Location: Indianapolis

Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handler to support our Facility at Ryder in Indianapolis, IN.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience required
  • Ability to read, do basic mathematics, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to input data into a computer system
  • Availability to work overtime as assigned

Some positions may require additional screening: employment/education verification, motor vehicle record check, road test, background checks, and/or customer‑specific requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions
  • Identify and correct potential process errors before they affect the customer
  • Recognize damaged product throughout the warehousing process and take appropriate action
  • Pull orders accurately as assigned
  • Stage orders by carrier location and verify pallet count and staging location
  • Prepare receiving, storage, and shipping documentation, maintaining product accountability
  • Follow location and work‑center safety and security policies and procedures
  • May be required to train others in safe operation of powered industrial lift equipment, perform housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned
  • Operate forklift equipment or other warehouse machinery
