Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handler to support our Facility at Ryder in Indianapolis, IN.
Highlights- Pay: $23.54 per hour
- Products: plastic returnable containers & finished goods
- Equipment: sit‑down forklift & other powered industrial equipment (trainable)

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience required
- Ability to read, do basic mathematics, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to input data into a computer system
- Availability to work overtime as assigned
Some positions may require additional screening: employment/education verification, motor vehicle record check, road test, background checks, and/or customer‑specific requirements.
Responsibilities- Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions
- Identify and correct potential process errors before they affect the customer
- Recognize damaged product throughout the warehousing process and take appropriate action
- Pull orders accurately as assigned
- Stage orders by carrier location and verify pallet count and staging location
- Prepare receiving, storage, and shipping documentation, maintaining product accountability
- Follow location and work‑center safety and security policies and procedures
- May be required to train others in safe operation of powered industrial lift equipment, perform housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned
- Operate forklift equipment or other warehouse machinery
