Summary
The Parts Shipping and Receiving position is responsible for day‑to‑day shipping and receiving duties, including freight company relations and warehouse operations.

Parts Shipping and Receiving
Reports To:
Parts Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Receive shipments and confirm accuracy.
- Distribute received shipments to warehouse or appropriate department.
- Record receipt invoices for inventory purposes.
- Pick, stock and restock inventory.
- Ship all packages via UPS, Fed Ex and other applicable methods.
- Ensure quality control procedures are followed.
- Assist in housekeeping duties including recycling, collection, and disposal of trash.
- Assist in inventory functions including cycle counts, physical inventories, and warehouse organization.
- 灾 interact with freight companies to provide best freight solutions for the business.
- Process applicable paperwork including freight bills, packing slips, and bills of lading.

Qualifications
- Ability to operate a forklift or strong ability to learn to do so.
- Basic computer knowledge and strong organizational and communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Manual dexterity to operate standard departmental equipment (e.g., PC, pallet jack, forklift).
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, stands, and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to operate motor vehicles.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Other duties as required.
Physical Requirements
- Mobility:
Walk, stand, and potentially bend or kneel to inspect equipment. - Vision:
Good eyesight required for inspection, reading manuals, and ensuring quality control. - Hearing:
Good hearing to communicate effectively with technicians, customers, and vendors. - Manual dexterity:
Required for paperwork, computer use, and assistance tasks. - Lifting:
Occasionally lift and move objects such as tools, equipment, or parts. - Strong organizational skills.
