Store Room Clerk- 1st shift

The Store Room Clerk is responsible for issuing parts and supplies to company personnel and receiving and completing inventory of incoming materials.

• Issues parts to maintenance, production, and personnel.
• Maintains and computes all required paperwork and/or reports.
• Stores items being received in proper location and maintains inventory.
• Checks packing slips of material received against purchase orders and visually received goods for description, quantity, and quality.
• Ensures that inventory count and housekeeping are maintained in the out buildings used by the Store Room.
• Operates fork truck and scale house, when required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess a basic working knowledge of computer applications, such as being comfortable browsing the internet from a personal computer.
