Warehouse Associate

Shift

Tuesday - Friday 6:00am – 4:30pm (10 Hour Shift)

The Warehouse Associate’s primary responsibility is to pick and load product for outgoing delivery. In this role you will select products from the warehouse, load and secure goods onto pallets, and move inventory to designated loading areas. You must comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Read customer delivery pick order, determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Drive forklift (reach truck, order picker, turret truck, pallet jack, sit‑down) to pick/pack and transport items.
• Sort and place material(s) or item(s) on racks, shelves, bins according to predetermined sequence (e.g., size, type, style, color, or product code).
• Use an RF scanner to enter records and record data.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Stage material in the proper area as designated by pick order ticket.
• Gather, pack and stage materials to meet customer order demands.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred 1 year work experience in a production or warehouse environment.
• Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork.
• Ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend and speak English.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Customer service oriented.
• Ability to sit, walk, or stand for up to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Willing to work at heights of 25 feet or more while secured by a harness.

English (Spanish/English) a plus

This position is in a warehouse environment, typically indoors but may require access to outdoors at times. A forklift (reach truck, order picker, turret truck) is required. The position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, and twisting; you must see, hear, and talk; use fingers and hands; handle or feel controls or product; use hands and arms to reach, hold, and carry product.

Frequently lifting/moving up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. is required. The position also requires handling different temperatures as the warehouse is hot in summer and cooler in winter. This role may require standing for long periods of time, up to 10 hours.
