Scrubber Operator

Family Dollar Distribution Center, 500 Family Dollar Pkwy, Ashley, Indiana  – Full‑time Scrubber Operator role.

• Complete daily Scrubber checklist to ensure equipment is working properly and report any defects to management or maintenance.
• Operate Scrubber in a safe manner.
• Sweep and mop all distribution center floors utilizing a sweeper.
• Ensure the sweeper is cleaned daily.
• Hand sweep areas as determined by need.
• Hand sweep all assigned areas not accessible by sweeper, including the inside perimeter of the distribution center.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety.
• Maintain an organized work area and promote a safe working environment with the Maintenance department.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Physical Requirements:
  
  Able to occasionally lift and move up to 10 pounds; must maintain adequate fitness level for frequent lifting, walking, standing, moderate climbing, occasional sitting, stooping, and kneeling.
• Working Conditions:
  
  Climate‑controlled distribution or warehouse atmosphere; exposure to restricted spaces, fumes, airborne particles as regulated by OSHA.
• Availability:
  Must be willing to work shift work, overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.
