Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Shop Foreman

bo-mar Industries is in search of a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our metal fabrication shop in Beech Grove, Indiana. This will include shipping and receiving duties, such as local pickups and deliveries of assemblies or raw materials, receipt of shipments to our fabrication shop, and protecting and loading oversized items for shipment across the country. • Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
• Promptly loads and unloads trucks and deliveries; sorts and stocks receivables.
• Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Packing and loading custom fabrications with care for protection during shipment.
• Ensure safety is a priority on the job during all activities, including proper tool usage and care near large fabrications, being mindful that you will be working on and around an active fabrication shop floor.

• Valid Drivers License with For-Hire endorsement required, with insurable driving record.
• Ability to handle physical workload, able to lift 60 lbs.
• Reliable and efficient with good communication skills. This position will regularly interact with internal staff, team members, and office staff.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience with a forklift or forklift is a plus.
• CDL is a plus.
