Transportation Dispatcher – Keep zTrip Running Smoothly Behind the Scenes

We’re seeking a Transportation Dispatcher to join our growing operations team. In this vital role, you’ll manage daily scheduling activities, coordinate driver assignments, and ensure seamless communication between drivers and internal teams—keeping everything on track and on time.
What You’ll Do as a Transportation Dispatcher:- Schedule drivers based on availability, location, and real-time demand
- Monitor fleet activity to ensure timely service and quick issue resolution
- Communicate trip details, updates, and route changes to drivers
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle assignments and scheduling activity
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to improve efficiency
- Respond to last-minute changes or service disruptions with professionalism and urgency
- Experience in scheduling, dispatch, logistics, or fleet coordination (preferred)
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with dispatch or routing software is a plus
- A valid driver’s license is required
