- Drive various company trucks to deliver building materials to construction job sites.
- Able to lift 100 pounds.
- Load and unload material to/from trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Able to work with customers and builders at job sites to provide excellent and effective service.
- Follow company policies regarding the delivery of materials.
- Able to gain a working knowledge of products and materials being delivered in order to ensure accurate and intact deliveries.
- Understand and comply with all Federal and State laws governing the operation of company delivery vehicles.
- Perform daily maintenance inspections on vehicles.
- Assist with duties in the yard and warehouses when necessary.
- Comply with all company safety requirements and policies.
- Class A or B CDL. with airbag endorsement.
- Experience delivering building materials
- Experience with the operation of equipment such as forklifts is required.
- Ability to read and understand maps, and basic delivery instructions.
