Join to apply for the Log Truck Driver role at Pike Lumber Company, Inc.
Basic FunctionResponsible for safely loading, hauling, and unloading logs and other company items. This is a short-haul position, and the driver will be home every night.
Responsibilities- Maintain a DOT acceptable driving record.
- Safely load, haul, and unload logs and other company items.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Perform related work as required and directed by their supervisor.

- Drive Class 8 Tractors and Trailers
- Heavy Machinery Operation
High school diploma required; some college preferred. No additional experience required.
Certifications/Licenses- Class A Driver’s License
- Acceptable DOT driving record
- Walk over hilly or rough terrain periodically.
- Climb, squat, stoop, and twist to maneuver into and out of equipment.
- Push or pull logs or other debris out of the way.
- Drive for 10 or more hours.
- Lift and carry 40 pounds.
- Strap down loads.
