Location & Work Arrangement
- City, State:
Indianapolis, IN - Work Arrangement:
Hybrid (Local candidates only; 3 days onsite and 2 days remote weekly). - Interview Mode:
Initial Phone/Teams interview followed by a potential In-person final interview. - Shift: Monday Friday, EST.
- Full-Stack Development & Architecture - Analyze existing legacy applications and architect new, scalable web solutions using C# and ASP.NET. Utilize object-oriented techniques and best practices to write high-quality technical specifications. Develop code within a supported MVC framework and ensure all milestones are met according to the project plan. Implement a comprehensive unit testing strategy and plan to ensure application stability and security.
- Collaboration & Analysis - Partner with technical and functional staff to translate complex business requirements into technical reality. Prototype, refine, and debug programs based on end-user feedback and project goal alignment. Provide independent judgment on application architecture and business logic decisions.
- Security & Specialized Integration - Analyze and address security vulnerabilities for applications built in multiple languages. Ensure all development adheres to agency standards and federal/state healthcare policies. Nice to Have:
Support EDI claim transactions and resolve data transmission conflicts with external trading partners.
- ASP.NET - Current working experience with .NET frameworks (10 years).
- C# & MVC - Expert-level development using C# and MVC frameworks (5 years).
- Database - Proficiency with Oracle SQL and data modeling (5 years).
- Security - Experience addressing security-related application issues (5 years).
- Web Services - Hands-on experience developing and consuming Web Services (5 years).
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
Preferred Qualifications- Healthcare Industry: Prior experience in a public health or clinical environment is highly desired.
- EDI Knowledge:
Understanding of EDI file formats and trading partner exchanges. - Problem Solving:
Demonstrated ability to solve complex programming issues with minimal guidance.
