IT Software Development Advisor

Fully Remote

12 Months (Possible Extension)

.NET Core framework, Vue.js, SQL Server, C#, HTML, JavaScript, Web services, ASPX. EDI 873, 935, 299 (is a bonus).

Responsibilities
  • To design and maintain robust, scalable software architecture for one or more elements of CMS software systems.
  • To oversee programming, implementation and maintenance revisions of specified projects and to evaluate technologies and provide consultation regarding applications and systems needs related to these elements.
  • Identify and direct implementation of strategies for maintaining JURIS data and application integration. Collaborate with management and colleagues throughout CMS and develop overall designs and define projects for implementation of strategic technology initiatives.
  • Review software change requests to identify duplication, similarities, and feasibility and recommend specific actions needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Administer company personnel policies in all areas and follow company staffing standards and training recommendations.
  • Interview, hire and establish colleague performance development plans; conduct colleague performance discussions.
  • Provide support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Over 10 years of related experience.
  • Hands‑on programming experience in database and data‑driven applications strongly preferred.
  • High level knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies, specification development, security, application modularization and logic specifications.
  • Strong oral and written communication, including technical writing skills and presentation skills. PC literate, including Microsoft Office products. Leadership, management and motivational skills.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree with major in Information Systems or Management from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Master's degree strongly preferred.
