Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.
Position SummaryThis grant‑funded position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to Social Impact clients and residents at the Weather Response Shelter. The Support Associate will perform a variety of administrative duties to support the shelter and collaborate with the shelter manager, case managers, volunteers, and staff to ensure efficient program operation. The role requires flexibility and may extend beyond the standard 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday‑Friday, 40‑hour work week.
KeyDuties
- Maintaining accurate and confidential client records and data
- Responding promptly to client and staff requests via telephone and/or email
- Managing inventory of shelter supplies and donations
- Assisting with meal preparation and distribution following food safety protocols
- Conducting intake interviews, orienting new residents to the facility, and assigning living space
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- One (1) year of customer service experience (required)
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively (required)

- Strong ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle highly confidential information with professionalism
- Willingness to work hours outside the normal 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday‑Friday, 40‑hour work week
- Ability to respond appropriately and effectively in crisis situations by using good judgement and following Aspire protocols
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills, and flexible
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines
- Possession of/maintenance of a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the organization’s requirements
- Reliable transportation to attend trainings and/or meetings
