Hollingshead Mixer Company manufactures the highest quality, longest lasting, front-discharge concrete mixing trucks. We invite you to submit your application for our Heavy Truck Mechanic position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of concrete mixer trucks and other heavy machinery used in the concrete industry. This role is critical to ensure our fleet operates efficiently, safely, and reliably to meet our project demands and delivery schedules.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, electrical systems, and hydraulic problems in diesel engines and equipment.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues and determine the necessary repairs.
• Rebuild, replace, or repair major components of diesel engines, such as heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions.
• Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures in the workshop and on the job site. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Stay updated on the latest diesel engine technology and repair techniques.

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the concrete industry or related fields.
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Commitment to safety standards and protocols.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is preferred.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screenings.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
• Must have manual dexterity to assemble products.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination.
