Hoosier Heroes is hiring experienced Drywall Finishers to perform high-quality wall and ceiling repairs as part of our Field Operations team. This full-time role is ideal for a versatile tradesperson who is not only a master of drywall finishing but also has a solid handyman background. You'll be trusted to patch, texture, prime, and paint drywall surfaces with precision—and if you can handle trim carpentry and broader builder punch‑list work, even better.
Key Responsibilities- Repair drywall issues including nail pops, settling cracks, and water damage.
- Patch and blend drywall holes and seams using standard finishing techniques.
- Apply various ceiling and wall textures (knockdown, smooth, etc.).
- Prime and paint finished drywall areas.
- Assist with trim carpentry and minor handyman tasks when needed.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
- Communicate clearly with clients and teammates on work progress.
Travel to local job sites as part of a remote field‑based team.
Qualifications- 7-10+ years of drywall finishing experience, preferably in residential remodeling.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Proficient in patching, taping, texturing, priming, and painting.
- Bonus if experienced in trim carpentry or builder punch‑list repair items.
- Must have reliable transportation and a complete set of tools.
- Ability to work independently and with precision under tight timelines.
- Strong commitment to jobsite cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
