You Deserve to Work Somewhere That Has Your Back.If you’re an HVAC installer who’s tired of being treated like a number at a big corporation — or tired of getting stuck at a small shop with no structure, no growth, and no backup — this could be the home you’ve been looking for.
At B&W, you’ll be trusted to do great work, supported by people who care, and equipped with the tools and stability you need to thrive. We’re big enough to offer year-round work, full benefits, and career advancement — but small enough that you’ll still be known by name.
We’re growing fast because we do the right thing for our customers and for our team. If you believe in craftsmanship, integrity, and showing up for each other — we’re probably already aligned.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a Residential HVAC Installer, you’ll handle full system replacements and upgrades in homes across Central Indiana. You’ll take ownership of your installs — not just "get them done," but get them right.
- Install heating and cooling systems: furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, etc.
- Collaborate with sales and design to understand scope, layout, and customer needs
- Complete high-quality installs to code, with craftsmanship you’re proud to put your name on
- Run full start-up and commissioning checks before you leave the site
- Keep job sites clean and communicate clearly with homeowners
- Work alongside helpers and team leads to finish jobs efficiently and safely
You’re a skilled installer who takes pride in the details — but you also want to work somewhere that respects your time, invests in your development, and has a team that’s got your back.
You have:
- 2+ years of HVAC installation experience (residential systems)
- EPA 608 Certification (Universal preferred)
- Solid knowledge of HVAC components, codes, and install procedures
- The physical ability to lift and move 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
You’re someone who:
- Communicates professionally and clearly with customers and coworkers
- Stays organized and doesn’t cut corners
- Wants to keep learning and growing in the trade
- Lives by the idea that “doing something hard isn’t necessarily bad — it’s hard”
We’ve been a trusted name in the community for over 60 years — but we’re not stuck in the past. We’re constantly improving, growing, and building new opportunities for our team.
Here’s what you can count on:
- $22- $30an hour+ overtime + performance-based spiffs
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid time off, paid holidays, and family-first flexibility
- Ongoing training and upskilling opportunities
- Stable, year-round work — no winter layoffs
- A healthy, respectful culture where you’re known, appreciated, and challenged
We don’t just hang our values on a wall — we hire, train, and lead by them:
- Relational, Not Transactional – We care about people more than profits.
- Unequivocal Excellence – Good enough isn’t good enough.
- Do the Right Thing – Even when it’s inconvenient. Even when no one’s watching
