Job details

This position will be responsible for the technical integration of our products while traveling with our Installation teams. We create attractions such as laser tag, miniature golf courses, escape rooms, custom props, and more. The ideal candidate is honest, reliable, hardworking, a team player, and eager to learn and build things with their hands.

• Wiring and building PLC cabinets and pre-wiring sensors, gauges, and components for quick field installations
• Terminating various electrical connectors
• Reading wiring diagrams
• Programming PLC and other control systems
• Undertake work within training capabilities as assigned by lead or manager
• Participate in brainstorming/problem-solving with Engineering & Production personnel
• Record job status, time spent, and material tracking using in-house computer systems
• Interpret a variety of instructions in written, diagram, or schedule form
• Communicate effectively with clients to train and instruct how our systems work

This is a traveling position and the work base is in the Indianapolis area. Domestic and international travel to clients’ facilities is estimated at about 50% of the time. Typical durations: 5–7 days domestic, 10–14 days international. Some back-to-back installs may require longer travel. When not traveling, work onsite at our facility in southwest Indianapolis, IN near I-465 & Sam Jones Expressway.

• Previous experience with low-voltage wiring and circuitry
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Team player; highly detailed and perfection-driven
• Availability to travel 50% of the time
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally for onsite installations (1–2x per month). Most installs are outside Indiana and last 5–10 days
• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime
• Good mechanical aptitude; ability to acquire and maintain required certifications
• Effective communication with coworkers and others
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions
• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision and in a team
• Physical requirements:
  
  standing for long periods; bending, kneeling, crouching; vision and dexterity; hearing; handling tools
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds

• Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
• Hours:
  
  6:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday; travel may affect schedule. Overtime possible
