Responsibilities- Test and troubleshoot continuity of fiber optic networks.
- Operate all testing equipment and solve common challenges.
- Prep fiber splice enclosures (Tyco, Commscope, Corning, etc.).
- Utilize fusion splicer, OTDR (1310, 1550, DWDM, CWDM, 945 OLTS), Max Tester, and power meter.
- Apply fiber engineer knowledge of fiber design, read documentation, and understand light levels and dB loss.
- Work in outdoor utility construction sites.
- Safety is part of your day‑to‑day work.
- Track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
- Enjoy solving hard problems with a hands‑on approach.
- Seeking long‑term projects.
- Enjoy working with the team and getting hands dirty.
- At least 3–5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience.
- Comfortable working on ladder or bucket truck.
- Flexible and enjoy a variety of shifts with overtime.
