This position will respond to the everyday needs of the Shop Foreman and Production Location Manager.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Beck’s equipment as assigned.
• Assist with commercial vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Communicate activities, problems and potential solutions to supervisor.
• Maintain accurate service records on all pieces of equipment.
• Perform general farm and general seed duties as assigned.
• Perform any other jobs necessary to help make Beck’s operation a success.

• Education and training:
  High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Formal Technical Skills Training preferred.
• Ability to obtain Class A CDL — Hazmat preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.
• Technical knowledge:
  Basic equipment knowledge and mechanical skills.
• Specialized training on maintenance and repair of farm equipment and/or road equipment.
• Travel and hours of work:
  Overnight travel may be required based on project needs at Beck’s regional locations and may vary in duration of time.
• Physical demands:
  Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted.
• May be required to pass respiratory medical clearance evaluation.
• Ability to pass DOT physical examination and obtain Medical Examiner’s Certificate required.
• Experience:
  
  Previous experience in farm equipment repairs and/or road equipment repairs.
