Security Officer - Armed

Location: Edinburgh

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request additional resources as needed and coordinate with on-site leadership and/or local first responders.;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, checkpoints, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.;
Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, processing visitors, and monitoring for unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior to help to deter policy violations.;
Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and policy exceptions; maintain required equipment and follow all post orders and armed post requirements established by Allied Universal and the location.
