As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Rockport, IN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and deliver strong customer service through clear, professional communication with site personnel and visitors.

This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in alignment with Allied Universal Driver Policy Requirements, supported by a caring, integrity-driven team.

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Control access at gates, doors and/or checkpoints by verifying credentials, directing traffic flow and documenting entries and exits as required.
• Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports and shift communications, and coordinate with site contacts and local responders when needed.

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
